★ ★ ★ ★ ★ De mensen (eigenaren)? die achter het hotel wonen hebben een waakhond... Die blafte tot 01:15 's nachts bij elk geluid en begon weer om 07:10. Sorry maar dat kan echt niet. Verder ontzettend gehorige kamers dus ook opnieuw gewekt rond 01:30 door gasten met lawaai die terugkwamen. Bij uitchecken werd niets gevraagd over of het verblijf prettig was geweest.
The people (owners)? who live behind the hotel have a watchdog... That barked until 1:15 am at every noise and started again at 7:10 am. Sorry but that's really not possible. Furthermore, very noisy rooms so also woken up again around 01:30 by guests with noise who came back. When checking out, nothing was asked about whether the stay had been pleasant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful place in the countryside to relax, take it easy, sleep peacefully in their very comfortable beds, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings (including the historic 16th century mills directly opposite - but the hotel building is also historically listed!)
The owners are friendly, courteous and understand hospitality. They really do whatever they can to ensure you have an incredibly comfortable stay.
The rooms are spotlessly clean - if a little bit dated in terms of decoration - but in perfect condition. They are spacious, with a separate sitting/dining area (we were there during lockdown so they had a dining table set up in the sitting area for meals).
Food is delicious, well prepared, and served to your room.
The location is wonderful, peaceful, feels remote and yet is easy to get to. Great walking/hiking paths go right past the B&B.
I would happily stay here again and recommend it highly to others.
