★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place in Gorinchem! As an international traveler, I have found the Goud en Zilver to truly make you feel like you have a "home away from home". The owners take a personal interest in all their guests, whether it is making you a wonderful breakfast, or an afternoon cappuccino while you sit and talk on the cafe chairs. The rooms are spacious, with stocked wine, chocolates, and coffee. The view and the local city center square make it a perfect location. Its the little things that make the Goud en Zilver special.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hi there -I'm travelling almost every week through europe job related! One of the best Hotels I ever had, a warm welcoming, a free beer, super location and a very clean room (looks completly new and refurbished).
Looking forward to the legendary breakfast! :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Goud en Zilver is one of the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Each room is uniquely and amazingly furbished. The rooms are clean and tidy as well as quite. The beds are large and very comfortable. Compared to other hotels, the apartments also have very good lighting! The kitchenette is also well equipped!
Breakfast tates delicious and is always freshly made (e. g. omelette, scrumbled eggs, joghurt with fresh fruits and orange juice). The hosts Marie and Bert are wonderful, helpful and also always open for a quick chat! This also makes the Goud en Zilver feel like home. Very recommendable!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a fantastic stay with our 2 kids. Bert and Marie are fantastic hosts and the apartment was great. With a small kitchen, fridge, dishwasher it is ideal for a family stay in Gorinchem. Breakfast was delicious and all made fresh. Would definitely recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a beautiful place, run by extremely friendly people. They had a room across the street where they stored our bicycles, and they had a good breakfast. These people honestly seemed to love what they do! I can't imagine anyone giving them less than 5 stars. Our room was beautiful and IMMACULATE! We would have been happy to stay longer... In fact, we would have been happy to simply move in...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful room and staff. The hotel consists of 11 apartments that had been refurbished to hotel standard but still gives you a cozy homely atmosphere. Breakfast is unfortunately not included, as with many hotels in Central Europe, but highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The sympathetic owner and staff did everything more than right. You feel at home instantly. For me, they have set a new benchmark and the truth is, when you travel a lot, you know what counts, as said of the owner, true for me, I believe, too.
Not only are rooms welcoming and stylish, you are met with respect. Wine, prosecco, other drinks, are abundantly available in good quality in the room - you just fill the 'honesty' tab yourself. A well equipped kitchenette would cater for your short and long term stay.
Another highlight is the breakfast: Welcoming smiles, perfect coffee and a sunday breakfast with only the best food will wait for you.
A picky food nerd like me wants to return as soon as possible.
