HOTEL NIJVER - Heuvel 1a

Zaterdag 27 november 2021 een kamer geboekt bij hotel Nijver. Een late incheck om 20.30. Alles was bevestigd voor ons verblijf. Komen we bij het hotel aan, is er niemand aanwezig, alles zat opslot. We hebben het hotel meerdere keren gebeld, maar geen reactie. De dagen erna ook niks meer gehoord. We stonden letterlijk voor een gesloten deur na een lange autorit. Erg slecht helaas.

Friendly with pleasant rooms. Very quiet location with easy access to Eindhoven.

Always friendly. Accomadating and helpfully. Nice pub and food, a bit expensive but worth it.

We were there with my boyfriend for a long weekend. Really good, everyone was nice and friendly. The hotel rooms are really special, it was a little bit hot there because our vacation was in sommer, but it’s ok. The breakfast really worth the money! The meals and the coctails in the restaurant are delicious as well! It’s simply beautiful there :)

Stayed here several years ago and that had been a pleasant experience with very cool looking art deco style bedrooms, but on a recent visit to the region stayed here for 3 nights as all hotels in Eindhoven were fully booked. The bedrooms still had the cool look but not as fresh as I remembered.. The room safe did not work this time (unable to enter own code), with added issue that water from the shower ran into bathroom area due to a stoppage? Also, the corridor leading to my room (room 31) passed through what looked like a bar/kitchen storage area and the floor was never cleaned in 3 days I was there! But biggest issue was the bedbugs! Yes, that's right, the 'bedbugs'!! (in dutch: bedwanten, een parasiet in het bedgoed) that ate me alive at night. At first I though there had been a mosquito but no such luck. The biting at night stopped once I moved to the Parkplaza hotel in Eindhoven for remainder of my stay. After visiting local doctor/chemist they confirmed it was indeed bed bug bites and when I then returned to inform staff at Nijver Hotel that they had a serious issue the male receptionist simply told me he hoped they (bedbugs) wouldn't be present the next time I stayed?! I never even got an apology, and when I pressed him on this he had cheek to tell me he thought he had apologized at beginning but had no intention on repeating it. Shocking reaction and service, and therefore next time hotels are full in Eindhoven I would rather sleep on a park bench. A shame because the bar/restaurant section of hotel was good, but then I suppose you have to ask if its same cleaners working both sections of hotel?!

Amazing hotel! The staff very friendly and very attentive, the rooms with a lot of style (with a small private garden), the very rich breakfast and it is impossible to finish (a lot of variety of everything). The hotel is in the center of town where you can find many shops, cafes and different restaurants. I would definitely go back and recommend !!!!!

it is a nice place but i guess the walls are too thin you can hear anything i got frightened by the noise everytime someone closed their door or a car passed by. cute roomservice lady
