The location is superb! Super close to the central station, walkable distance to RLD, and many lovely restaurants in the neighbourhood. Other comments mentioned about the old buildings and facilities, we stayed for 3 nights on 3rd floor, the room is spacious, bed is a bit too soft for me tho and it might be a bit noisy during night time. Other than that, basically everything is fine and we love the breakfast! plenty of fruits, bread, ham, cereal, and they even have different types of jam. A really good start of the day! if location is your first priority, this is pretty much unbeatable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You get a decent room for a reasonable price at the heart of Amsterdam. The rooms are clean but the interior is a bit used. The staff was very child friendly. The breakfast is simple, but good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As always Prins Hendrick is the best place to stop for a beer and some people watching ? Good beer, good food and very friendly staff who will remember you from one year to the next! We have also stayed in the hotel ( not this time) and the friendly good service runs the same plus a very excellent breakfast ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The single room was very small and noisy due to window's bad insulation. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean but the facilties were quite limited: no dryer, no fridge and very small sink in the bathroom which even does not allow to shave the face!
