β β β β β Amazing hotel. We watched an episode of Walker Texas Ranger where they dyed his beard and hair so that he could disguise himself as a Mexican immigrant. The plot was completely incoherent and seeing it dubbed in German just added to the absurdity. It was a near religious moment. Nice warm shower and the dude made us righteous scrambled eggs for breakfast also!

β β β β β From the looks, not that good. Avoid room number 11, it's worse than the rest. Staff was friendly, so they get one star. The rooms are in bad condition. It's hot and smelly. Most rooms have shared shower and toilet (pretty clean). There is a bar and some guest were very drunk.

β β β β β Good quality stay for an amazing price. Direct in the old town of Leeuwarden. Typical Dutch house . Clean, also with towels, staffs speaks also German. Nice to have: a typical Dutch bar, with Amstel on tap and bottled Belgian beer and, not to forget, small things to eat like the typical Frisean mustard soup...Great value for money!

Prices are cheap. Breakfast is not a wow but fair with the price!
The things which could be better:
The isolation of the wall, I could hear the person in the next room!
In the night 2 times there where a crazy noise I guess from radiator! The whole thing is too old! My room was really small with an small window which has the roof in front of it , then not any view.

β β β β β Our reservation got cancelled by no fault of our own or the hotel, which we heard while we arrived. They called for over an hour to find us a place to stay, which they eventually found and even payed for some of the costs which we made due to the inconveniences

β β β β β Potential fire hazard, the bed side light so is hot and was pointing downwards, and placed directly above my phone charger, it partial melted the plastic body.

β β β β β Very cosy place, perfectly located to the city center of Leeuwarden. Very decent rooms, friendly staff, nice bar. We have been here before, and will come back again. So certainly recommended
