“Mijn opa was mijn eerste vriend. Hij is het bedrijf begonnen in 1948. Als kind kwam ik elke dag na school in de timmerwerkplaats en mocht ik meehelpen. De geur van zaagsel, dat is de geur van mijn jeugd. De lekkerste houtgeur vind ik die van western red cedar, de duurzaamste houtsoort om mee te bouwen. Het is vrij zacht maar het gaat heel lang mee. Als je dat zaagt of schaaft… dan is het net parfum. Als ik mijn ogen dicht doe, kan ik ruiken met welke houtsoort ik te maken heb. Vooral als het om Europees hout gaat, daar weet ik veel vanaf. Mijn opa nam me ook mee naar het bos, waar hij me alles leerde over bomen. Hoe hij met hout omging, de liefde en de eerbied die hij voor het hout had – dat heeft hij allemaal op me overgebracht.”

L	Luc Van Leeuwen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Een boerenschuur met betonvloer en met persoonlijke wensen laten bouwen door houtbouw holland. 58m2 en 4,30 hoog dus een redelijke schuur. Alles samengevat. Super goede kwaliteit. Om te beginnen een leuke verkoper (paul sesselaar) die altijd vriendelijk bereikbaar en behulpzaam was bij alle vragen inc, het helpen met vergunningen en wettelijke punten. Een leuk team wat het bij ons heeft geplaatst (3 man) super toffe gasten die professioneel en vakkundig overkwamen met een oog voor detail en die niet weggaan voor de juiste kwaliteit en de eisen van de klant zijn behaald. Ook is de afhandeling van de schuur een feestje. Er word netjes achteraf gebeld over je tevredenheid en worden de facturen en het zakelijke aspect netjes begeleid op een leuke en normale manier door de altijd super vrolijke, behulpzame en leuke (Wioletta Schipper - Dawidowska) echt top! De begeleiding was super, het neerzetten van de houtbouw-basis was indrukwekkend, en de gasten van Houtbouw Holland zijn een mooie mix van Drentse en Poolse aanpakkers. We zijn enorm blij met het resultaat en als er een keer iets aan de hand is - ook als het om de door hun partner gemaakte stalen deuren gaat -, zijn ze direct bereikbaar én staan ze in no-time op de stoep om het professioneel op te lossen. Ze drinken alleen geen Grolsch. Da's jammer. Great ideas about the construction of our large barn with office; a combination of prefab timber construction with custom steel doors. The guidance was great, the setting up of the timber construction base was impressive, and the guests of Houtbouw Holland are a nice mix of Drentse and Polish tacklers.
