P	Pieter Duivenvoorden on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waar nu het Appartementen complex Huis te Bennebroek staat,stond oorspronkelijk een heel mooi statig Huis,met de zelfde naam "Huis te Bennebroek" Als kind kwam ik daar met mijn vader,die had een klein poeliers bedrijfje in "Wild en Gevogelte" en we woonden toen nog in Noordwijkerhout.Eens in de week ging ik met mijn Vader,dat was op donderdag, richting Bennebroek,waar hij aardig wat cliëntelen had,zo ook,de buitenplaats "Huis te Bennebroek",een statige Villa gelegen in het oudste stukje Bennebroek,nabij de Reek.Je moest het niet wagen om aan de deur aan de voorzijde te bellen. Leveranciers van goederen en dergelijke werden gevraagd,zich aan de achterzijde van het huis te melden.Daar bevond zich in het Souterrain,de keuken,de afwas keuken,de dienstbode kamer,en wat er zoal nodig is om het Huis draaiende te houden.Want het Huis herbergde mensen die gesetteld waren, mensen die van huis uit geld hadden,ze noemen het ook wel 'oud geld'! Om in het hedendaagse "Huis te Bennebroek"te kunnen wonen,zul je voor een balatage commissie moeten verschijnen,en die commissie bepaald uiteindelijk of je daar in een prachtige omgeving mag wonen.
