Nice and very good hairdresser !! After many years in The Hague I finally found a hairdresser who knew how to give me a good haircut for a reasonable price !! The living room is also well decorated !!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Huis van Groen is een 'aparte' kapsalon, hoewel het eigenlijk een kapsalon is zoals elke zou moeten zijn. Kapper René stelt zich tot doel de bezoeker te laten 'onthaasten' en neemt de tijd voor, en biedt alle aandacht aan, elke klant. Elk bezoek is plezierig.
De inrichting is geheel naar René's hand: allerlei leuke antiquarische (Franse) pareltjes gevonden op de vele marktjes die René bezoekt.
Kortom: een fijne plek om te zijn, en een plek om naar tevredenheid weer huiswaarts van te keren; een belangrijk aspect bij een kapper...
Huis van Groen is a 'separate' hair salon, although it is actually a hair salon as any should be. Hairdresser René has set himself the goal of letting the visitor 'unwind' and takes the time and offers every customer every attention. Every visit is enjoyable.
The interior is entirely in René's hand: all kinds of nice antique (French) gems found on the many markets that René visits.
In short: a nice place to be, and a place to return home satisfactorily; an important aspect at a hairdresser ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I dont recommend this place if you are looking for more than a technically mostly just acceptable (but not great) haircut, but you also want to feel relaxed, cared for and have that satisfactory feeling after getting a great haircut. The owner, Rene is very unfriendly and grumpy. Despite what he states on his website he doesnt discuss extensively what you wish. He hardly listens to you, hardly answers your questions. I also took our kids a few times, worst idea: never do it. He really dislikes children. He let our 4 year old son leaving the shop crying, and didnt give him a candy, which stays near the cashier, free to take. Also, he doesnt tell you in advance when he changes his prices. Too bad, he works close to our house, was an easy choice. But we wont go there anymore.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice and easy haircut just as I wanted it. Rene did a good job through not cutting off to much but still managed to cut away all my broken edges. Oftentimes I either still have dead ends or half of my hair is gone.
He is very relaxed and quiet at first which I thought was very enjoyable because you can also decide to just sit in silence if you like.
I can recommend this shop!
