The ladies at the desk can often be a bit friendlier, but in general we are quite satisfied with the services provided!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lang wachten (tot wel 45min) in de wachtkamer.
Je komt op tijd en op de afgesproken tijdstip om vervolgens een half uur tot soms een uur te zitten wachten in de wachtkamer.
Jouw aangewezen arts zal grotendeels niet of nooit aanwezig zijn wanneer je hem/haar nodig hebt(Altijd vakantie of uit). Waardoor je genoodzaakt bent om naar een van de andere opvang artsen te gaan waar je geen vertrouwen band mee hebt opgebouwd en die je weinig van je geschiedenis af weten Of ze behandelen je als een tijdelijk project die je even snel afhandelt.
De receptie is altijd maar een hit en miss, de vriendelijkheid is compleet afhankelijk van wie er achter de Bali staat/zit. De een is vriendelijk en behulpzaam en de ander is zeer kortaf en ronduit bot en soms zelfs beledigend.
Ik zou t liefst hier weg willen maar ik zie of lees dat er geen betere alternatieven zijn in de buurt als je in Heugem woont. De betere artsen zitten in verre wijken of in t centrum van de stad. Te ver als je ziek bent en op de fiets naar de dokter moet. ?
Long waiting (up to 45min) in the waiting room.
You arrive on time and at the agreed time and then wait half an hour to sometimes an hour in the waiting room.
Your designated doctor will largely or never be present when you need him / her (Always on holiday or off). Forcing you to go to one of the other shelters with whom you have not built up a trusting relationship and who know little about your history. Or they treat you as a temporary project that you deal with just as quickly.
The reception is always a hit and miss, the friendliness is completely dependent on who is behind the Bali. One is friendly and helpful and the other is very curt and downright blunt and sometimes even insulting.
I would prefer to get out of here, but I see or read that there are no better alternatives in the area if you live in Heugem. The better doctors are in distant neighborhoods or in the center of the city. Too far if you are ill and have to go to the doctor by bike. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very bad experience. It was my first time as a patient in the Netherlands, and I am still shocked how badly and unfriendly I was treated by the staff there. They literally do not care about you and never had I an encounter with such unempathic people. Apparently I had food poisoning so I had terrible pain, I was very weak. After my 2 min "appointment" where the doctor did almost nothing to check me, he prescribed some painkillers to me and sent me out. I was on my own and had to take a taxi home, however I had such pain that I just sat in the waiting room for 1 hour till I felt a little better. When I asked the receptionist if they could call a taxi for me, her reply was " don't you have your own phone?" apparently they have no idea how it feels to fall sick, not knowing the native language and being completely on your own in another country. I was literally passing out and they could not care less, as an international student I strongly recommend you to NOT visit this medical office!
