★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Huize Dageraad is in 1890 gebouwd door de Veendammer reder Krans in de vorm van een schip, naar ontwerp van G.T. Bos. Het pand is opgetrokken uit kloostermoppen. In de voorgevel zit het wapen van Veendam-Wildervank. Van 1965 - 2012 hebben mijn opa en oma deze monumentale boerderij bewoond.
 Huize Dageraad was built in 1890 by the Veendammer reder Krans in the shape of a ship, designed by G.T. Forest. The building was built from monastery mops. The coat of arms of Veendam-Wildervank is in the facade. From 1965 - 2012 my grandfather and grandmother inhabited this monumental farm.
