Het Hyperion Lyceum is een openbare vwo-school in Amsterdam met een gymnasium- en een atheneum+-opleiding. Wij begeleiden onze leerlingen tot kritische en empathische denkers en doeners met een actieve maatschappelijke betrokkenheid.
In ons eigentijdse schoolgebouw op Overhoeks hebben we naast gewone klaslokalen ook grote studielabs, ateliers, muziekstudio’s, eigen gymzalen, een auditorium en een glijbaan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hele slechte buurt.
Bij mij is er al drie keer ingebroken.
Wel heel beroerd als je een school op een industrie terrein start of je kind daar naar toe stuurt.
Ze gooien trouwens ook vaak grofvuil gewoon voor de deur, het blijft daar maanden liggen.
Vreemden lui lopen daar overal rond.
Het is me echt een raadsel waarom je daar zo een bedrijf zou starten of nog maals je dierbare kind heen zou sturen.
Ik mag hopen dat het excuus niet logistiek of financieel ligt, dat zou een partij zielig zijn.

I've been burgled three times.
Very bad if you start a school on an industrial site or send your child there.
They also often just throw bulky waste in front of the door, it stays there for months.
Strangers lazily walk around everywhere.
It really is a mystery to me why you would start such a business there or send your precious child there again.
I hope the excuse isn't logistical or financial, that would be pathetic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hele slechte WiFi, Ik speelde Clash of Clans en ik was aan het aanvallen en ik had 49% en toen viel mijn WiFi uit, ik had dus daarom niet mijn sterrenbonus, ik was zo hyped om mijn spreukenfabriek te upgraden.
Really bad WiFi, I was playing Clash of Clans and I was attacking and I had 49% then my WiFi went out, so that's why I didn't have my star bonus, I was so hyped to upgrade my spell factory.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My parents forced me to go to another school after 4 years, this school caused my motivation for learning to go away. Also had a lot of fights with teachers.
However I have a lot of good memories here with all the friends I made.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So I’ve been going to this school for 4 years now. You’re supposed to have a school trip each year, but in my 4 years here, the only school trip was to the ‘Tolhuistuin’, which if u don’t know, is 100 feet away from the school! Don’t go here!
