Niet alleen de hypotheek is vriendelijk, maar ook onze contactpersoon Patrick Daas hebben wij als zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam beschouwd.
Zelfs in de avonduren konden we bij hem terecht.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bij mijn eerste vrijblijvende gesprek kreeg ik na enkele minuten al te horen dat ik een overeenkomst moest aangaan of dat ze mij anders niet konden helpen.
Toen ik vervolgens aangaf erover na te willen denken om van uit het gesprek te kunnen vluchten werd de toon wat milder en wilden ze mij heeeeel graag helpen. Nee dank je. Zulke gretige mensen vertrouw ik nooit weer.
During my first no-obligation conversation I was told after a few minutes that I had to enter into an agreement or that they could not help me otherwise.
When I then indicated that I wanted to think about it to be able to flee from the conversation, the tone softened and they really wanted to help me. No thanks. I never trust such eager people again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am very dissapointed with this hyptheekadviseur. I let him know our situation: expats, I had a contract with a hospital and my husband had what is called "Zero hour contract". Patrick reassured us that we would qualify for mortgage. Sadly after 2 refusals we were running out of time (you get 6 weeks time to secure a mortgage). We had to ask for an extension from the sellers. I had to send myself emails to him and his secretary to ask what the status was and if we needed to add any other documents. 1 day before the extension expired, we had still no mortgage. In panic I found another (well known) mortgage advisor and he was able to secure us mortgage in about 48 hours time.
We still got a bill from Hypotheekvriendelijk to pay the full price of 1500. This after we had to pay 3000 to the other mortgage advisor. I wrote an email back to Patrick asking him for documentation that he spent 15 hours of time (which I don't believe).
2 years later I get emails/ letter from a credit collecting copany that I need to pay the 1500. I appealed and it was rejected with a reason: we failed to provide proof of suitable income to get a mortgage. In the meantime, we got a mortgage with exact same incomes from a different advisor. So it was not us, but his incompetence.
Here goes my healthcare bonus. I hope you feel that you deserve it, Patrick.
My advice for expats: stay away from this hypotheekadviseur!
