★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Out of all the restaurants and cafe’s in the world, THIS IS MY FAVORITE. I adore this place. The coconut mango popsicle with dark chocolate and hazelnuts is the stuff of dreams (and one of the many vegan options!). I have a stamp card that I have filled up twice to get a free one. Children love it. It’s perfect for a date. And just a stone’s throw from beautiful Rembrandtpark. What a fabulous fresh take on an ice cream parlour!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing ice creams. Super original flavors. It is an explosion in your mouth. Creamy and fruitful, very different experiences. Grab several with a coffee and go for a walk around Rembrandtpark, you won’t regret it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At IJsmanschap (roughly meaning "homage to ice cream") you can take the people making the popsicles there on their word. They really love and honor ice cream to make an excellent product, all in a convenient popsicle form to take with you on the go. We had three flavours, all very good!
Plus, you can sit outside in the sun and watch the busy street in front of it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent coffee, they roast the beans themself and the flavour is subtle and balanced. Their croissants and ice cream is also top of the bill. Definite recommend and after getting your treats you can walk straight into the rembrandtpark to enjoy it in the sun and grass. 5/5 !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a very hot day. Actually, one of the first hot and sunny days of 2021. We took our inline skates and enjoyed the weather. Suddenly we both craved ice cream. I opened up google maps and searched for ice cream shops nearby. One was a ‘normal’ ice cream shop, the other was IJsmanschap. We were hesitating but wanted to try something new. Oh… we were glad we did!
First of all, the service was really good. She was very friendly and explained us the options that we had. We chose the Chocolate Hazelnut and the Lemon Cheesecake flavour. Both were dipped in delicious white chocolate. One topped with crispy almonds, the other with crispy caramel hazelnuts. The structure of the ice cream was really good. The taste was even better. The inside was creamy. The outside had a bite and the toppings were very crispy/crunchy. Together it was… heaven for a moment. Even though it may be considered pricy for most folks (9€ for two ice creams with chocolate and toppings), I would highly recommend it!
