Service was impeccable, staff was highly efficient, really friendly and with a natural flair that lacked all stiffness you sometimes find in very high-end restaurants. Not that many tables in the dining area so you have a feeling of privacy and intimacy while eating that's very nice. And then the food... Wow. Plating was absolutely gorgeous, flavours sometimes innovative, sometimes classic combinations done in a new way, every course had been carefully constructed in terms of textures as well as taste. A night to remember, and a restaurant to revisit for sure. Oh yeah, and definitely finish the whole thing off with some tea or coffee because the sweets you get along side that are a food course on its own, and definitely one you don't want to miss!
R	Remco Jansen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having had an 8 course lunch at Inter Scaldes, what can I say but the obvious. It was a perfect experience with attention to every little detail. Starting from the reception the moment we drove up to park our car, all through lunch and up to coffee in the sunny garden. The food was excellent and I particularly enjoyed the way creamy and acidic flavors were balanced in most dishes. My favorite dish was the red mullet that came with green asparagus and tangy red fruit. Being the designated driver I didn't get to try the wines but my companions assured me they were excellent as well.
M	Marnix de Groot on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Inter Scaldes, a gem of a restaurant. A manor house beautifully situated in Zeeland’s open pasture. On the 3rd of October, me and my family went to this special place for a special birthday. Bad timing though because at that time, Rona in the Netherlands was going to make its second comeback with large increase in daily cases. Unfortunately, we had to sit at seperate tables. Also (intelligent) lockdown was imminent so not suprisingly, also this restaurant was hauling in customers with as much throughput as possible. The reception and serving was rather hasty. 8 courses we had and before I could understand one perfect meal, I was served the next. They apologised but it felt bad missing out on the details of the complex tastes. Unprecedented creativity was applied for most of the dishes for which I bow deeply (particularly interesting was the different preparations of the oysters and the olive oil vanilla ice cream at the end). It was an amazing experience which I will never forget. 5 stars were it not for the quick customer rotation system making it feel a bit... ya less special or something.

Therefore, we received the aperitif and the "greeting from the kitchen"/ appetizer in an anteroom at a high table. Meanwhile our makeshift table was being prepared. The table was only intended for 2 instead of 4 people. Instead of my vegetarian menu, I received fish because it was too short-term. Unfortunately, the food for three stars did not convince us. We missed that certain something extra. For example, one course consisted only of beetroot and another course had too much cheese over it so that you could only taste cheese. As compensation for the wrong reservation, we were refunded the cheese course. We thought that they would be more accommodating. Positive: The sommelier always recommended good wines to us!
R	Raja Haider Hussain on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My second time at Inter Scaldes. Menu was a bit different as expected. The restaurant loves upto it’s Stars given the presentation and location. However I would at any given time rate Aan de poel and De bokerdoorns dishes better than Inter scaldes in taste.

This was no exception. Very good service in the restaurant. Food was exceptional and definitely what you can expect from a 3* restaurant.
