I did my PhD thesis printing at Ipskamp. All the the staffs are very kind and helpful with all information I requested. My thesis was printed in 4 days and delivered to my address. Most of printing companies need more days, and also cost wise expensive. I like the whole process of printing, paper quality and also free Cover design option. Ipskamp Drukkers helped me with the printing of my PhD thesis. Communication is clear and timely, the process was very efficient, and the finished product is superb! I don't normally leave very bad reviews, but my experience with this company has been the worst and I really regret using them. I chose them to print my thesis and absolutely everything went wrong. It started with them losing the shipment of my thesis, which was damaged during transport, but recorded as delivered. Since I was pressured by time, I had to figure out everything that happened myself by calling all kinds of different transport companies, while Ipskamp sent an email on a Friday afternoon to a general customer service of one transport company, which has a response expectation of 48h. Eventually the transport made it back (damaged to Ipskamp, thanks to me), they inspected everything and re-sent it to me. This took about a week longer. About 20-30 of the books they sent were still completely damaged and not usable. On top of all this, I chose to pay extra for UV-coating, which looked terrible on over half of the books. Ipskamp did not inform me the UV-coat is not precise, so it was all over the place. Many of the books had bubbles, meaning that it was not even properly applied. They also made a mistake in transforming vector-images to bitmap-images, so on my chapter pages grey-boxes were everywhere around the figures. After countless phone calls, complaints, incredible stress and anger, they agreed to pay a small percent of the original fee back to me as 'compensation' and to send me 30 new books (original order was 150!), correctly printed without the grey boxes. They made me once again go through proofs, not wanting to take the responsibility for the new books. The new shipment was sent way too late (after my PhD defense, also without bookmarks) because of the new round of corrections, proofs, emails back and forth and likely was printed on their cheap printers because the black pages look much worse (and this was not the case in the previous versions). In the original proofs they also assured me the black pages will look great when printed on the correct printer, but said they cannot do this for proofs, so it was all a mess. I didn't even bother complaining anymore since they have the worst customer service and they pass you from one person to another refusing to take responsibility. Overall terrible experience and if you have any other choice, stay away!
