★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Het is een goede plek om even te parkeren, vanaf dit punt kun je alle kanten op mits je geen staande mast hebt. Centrum Groningen is gemakkelijk te bereiken ook zonder boot. Voor de niet Groningse mensen: het is even wennen aan het dialect.
 It is a good place to park for a while, from this point you can go in all directions provided you do not have a standing mast. Groningen city center is easy to reach, even without a boat. For non-Groningen people: it takes some getting used to the dialect.

The photo was taken next to the Praxis Damsterdiep at the Groningen marina. The ship comes from the direction of Delfzijl and sails to the locks in the Van Starkenborg Canal. In the background an architecturally beautiful building.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prima jachthaven op loopafstand van het centrum. Vriendelijke mensen en goede voorzieningen. Perfecte haven om je boot een paar dagen te liggen als je naar huis moet.
Excellent marina within walking distance of the center. Friendly people and good facilities. Perfect harbor to lay your boat for a few days when you need to get home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prima rustige jachthaven, zeer geschikt voor passanten, mooie steigers, redelijke sanitair, vriendelijke en behulpzame havenmeester. Ca 1km van hondenvrijloop gebied, AH vlak over de sluis.
Excellent quiet marina, very suitable for passers-by, beautiful jetties, reasonable sanitary facilities, friendly and helpful harbor master. About 1 km from the dog-free area, AH just over the lock.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A friendly small harbor with clean showers and toilets. Nice welcoming staff. Nearby public traffic for going in town. It is not very deep though in places. We just made it with out 1.5 mr. keel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well laid-out harbour and a very welcoming harbourmaster. We arrived after 7, but we're shown our berth and landed by the harbourmaster right away. All is well maintained and the harbour has a friendly staff. Washer and dryer brand new.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great facilities and very secure. A little bit far from the city but there are shops and a supermarket near by. People are friendly, the showers are hot and go for a nice long time. Not a big haven so space is limited and depending on the time of year it may pay to get here before 1300.
