Great shop with fancy goods even from foreign countries! A little more expensive but worth every penny! Nice staff and the swirl ice cream is to die for!

Jamin was bekend van allerhande snoeperijen, meer de kant van bonbons en chocolade op, maar heel bekend was het ijs. Ooit zo'n enorm Rotterdams concern geweest, zeer bekend om zijn ijs, waarmee ze langs de deur kwamen. Daar komt Sjamin riepen we dan, altijd die S erbij. Ook een slogan was, ijs van sjamin daar zit scheerzeep in. Onzin natuurlijk, maar het was ook een bijzonder soort ijs. Echt jammer dat die plakken er niet meer zijn. Nu is Jamin meer een snoepwinkel. Daar is tegenwoordig ook vraag naar, de hang naar vroeger, naar grootmoeders snoep, waarvan je, behalve op de Kermis, niet zoveel meer ziet. Bij Jamin nu weer wel, maar er zijn niet zoveel Jamin zaken meer. Ze hebben er dus allerhande snoep, en ook wat bijproducten. Er is ook echt ouderwets, of te wel, grootmoeders snoep, te vinden. Wij zijn vriendelijk behandeld in de snoepwinkel. Er zijn echt producten die je alleen van heel vroeger kent, je moet dus enige leeftijd hebben. Alleen alles wat apart is, is ook duur, maar voor een enkele keer. Jamin is located in the center of Roermond on Steenweg. You used to see a lot of things from Jamin, especially in the West of the country. Jamin was known for all kinds of sweets, more towards bonbons and chocolate, but very famous was the ice cream. Once such a huge Rotterdam group, very famous for its ice cream, with which they passed the door. There comes Shamin, we called, always that S there. A slogan was also: shamin ice cream contains shaving soap. Nonsense of course, but it was also a special kind of ice cream. Too bad that those slices are no longer there. Now Jamin is more of a candy store. Nowadays there is also a demand for this, the longing for the past, for grandmother's sweets, of which you do not see much anymore, except at the Fair. At Jamin now again, but there are not so many Jamin cases anymore. So they have all kinds of sweets, and also some by-products. There is also really old-fashioned, or grandmother's candy. We are treated kindly in the candy store. There are really products that you only know from the old days, so you have to be of some age. Only everything that is separate is also expensive, but for a few times.
