Door zijn bescheidenheid en gave om mensen gerust te stellen, merk je niet eens dat hij met zijn camera aanwezig is. Ik beveel hem van harte aan.
 Jan Burgers takes pictures with inspiration. He knows how to capture important moments in photos that are valuable for relatives. Photos you often look at again. Because of his modesty and ability to reassure people, you don't even notice that he is present with his camera. I heartily recommend him.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Inmiddels is het een jaar geleden dat mijn moeder is overleden. In dit jaar heb ik gemerkt hoe waardevol de foto's van haar uitvaart zijn. Ze bieden mij veel troost. Het is een mooie sfeervolle reportage die precies de juiste toon van die dag raken: verdrietig maar toch licht, een lach, een traan. Het is moeilijk in woorden te vatten. Des te belangrijker dat de foto's genoeg zeggen......
