Epic stories about this bridge can be found in history. Very cool bridge, obviously not easy to park nearby but still well worth a look see for the war story. Tremendous action on and around this historic beauty. There was a movie on this called a bridge too far with some very famous faces portraying the events of ww11 which happened right here.

Iconic bridge and center of the 'Battle of Arnhem' during WW2. Blown up at October 7th in 1944. We offer tourist info about Arnhem on our website (ArnhemLife.nl). Also available is a bike rental service and many guided city tours to chose from! We hope to see you in Arnhem!

This is a new bridge that has been built in place of the famous one that was the scene of the battle of Arnhem between the British and German armies. There is a nearby museum for further information and a modern statue in honour of John Frost. The surrounding area is somewhat industrial, but a walk on the river bank is a pleasant experience, especially if you are interested in the history of the bridge itself. There are plenty of parking spaces by the river.

Best known as the "Bridge Too Far" from a tragic battle in WWII, the bridge stands as a reminder near Arnhem, Belgium. The cemetery is a reminder of that battle in 1944 and the high cost of war. Definitely worth a visit if you are anywhere in the area. Make it a part of your next trip. Thought-provoking and educational.

It's a bridge.. it is THE bridge of the 2nd WW, but still, just a bridge. Cycling over it in the morning or afternoon you get an enormous amount of smog on the bridge due to the heavy traffic. Other than that, no real downsides.
