Who is Johnny’s?
Johnny’s Burger Company is opgericht in 2011 en is de snelst groeiende hamburger take away & delivery formule van Nederland. We zijn eerst gestart met een Shop-In-Shop formule, waarbij we onze hamburgers verkochten in restaurants die ook andere producten op de kaart hadden staan. Sinds begin 2015 is Johnny’s alleen nog maar actief als franchiseformule. Inmiddels hebben we 32 vestigingen en groeien we hard door!
The ‘American’ Dream
Het idee van Johnny’s Burger Company is ontstaan in Amerika. Oprichter Tarek, was op zoek naar een mooi concept om in Nederland uit te rollen. Er konden al heel veel soorten eten thuisbezorgd worden, maar een goede hamburger was bijna nergens te verkrijgen. Na zijn vakantie in Amerika heeft hij er nog twee weken aan vast geplakt om stage te gaan lopen in een hamburgerrestaurant in Las Vegas.
Meat is all you need!
Een hamburger is pas een hamburger als het de échte Amerikaanse smaak heeft, dus ontwikkelden we onze eigen unieke recept. Met 99% rundvlees en 1% kruiden en zonder toegevoegde geur- kleur- en smaakstoffen. Zo werd Johnny’s Burger Company geboren als oer-Hollandse hamburger keten met authentiek Amerikaanse smaken.

Met onze kakelverse hamburgers toveren we een glimlach op ieders gezicht. Ze zien er niet alleen heerlijk uit, ze smaken ook fantastisch! Onze porties zijn - Amerikaans ;) – royaal. Na een menu van Johnny’s Burger heb je dan ook echt een voldaan gevoel.

Alle burgers worden na iedere bestelling vers klaargemaakt op de grill. We geven het vlees dus heel even de tijd om perfect gaar te worden. We streven er wel altijd naar om jouw kakelverse burger binnen 40 minuten bij je thuis te bezorgen!

Edit - now 2 hours but according to the staff it is my responsibility to appreciate how busy they are! Arrogance is astonishing as their poor planning and unexpected amount of orders becomes the responsibility of the customer!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On King's Day this year (27 April 2021) we placed an order with Johnny's Burger in Hilversum for a total of €32.68. Due to a problem in their ordering system the order WAS NEVER DELIVERED! When we called them multiple times to inquire the staff kept saying it's on its way until they said the kitchen was already closed.... we never got our food!
If this were it, I can understand that mistakes happen, however the real saga began when we asked for a refund or to receive the order on a different day. Again we were told multiple times that this will be taken care of.... but, after almost three months no resolution has been offered!!!! I personally went to the Restaurant a number of times and even spoke with the owner, Souhaib, twice but to no avail! Every time I was told this will be taken care of but... nothing! No follow up, no resolution, no updates. I even sent a message to the corporate office and, you guessed it, never received a reply....
I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH AN ARROGANT AND DISMISSIVE APPROACH TO A PROBLEM CREATED BY A BUSINESS.
The thing is we liked their burgers and would have kept ordering from them but not anymore. For €32.68 Johnny's Burger lost a potentially loyal customer and, hopefully, others who will read this review.
I am still waiting for a resolution by the way... perhaps a small court claim will move the owner to do the right thing...
