Ik voelde me meteen bij haar op mijn gemak en het was heel fijn dat er geen stiltes vielen. Daardoor kon ik beter mijzelf zijn en sta ik meer als mijzelf op de foto. Daardoor zijn het mooie foto's, die ook realistisch zijn. Precies dat wat ik nodig heb. A good portrait photographer is also a social photographer. Van tevoren hadden we via de telefoon een uitgebreide intake en mocht ik aangeven wat ik wilde uitstralen, waar ik graag de shoot wilde laten plaatsvinden en welke scènes ik in gedachten had. Door de coronacrisis was het best een lastige opgave om een goede locatie te vinden, maar Judith denkt in oplossingen en is creatief in het vinden van alternatieven. Meteen vanaf het eerste telefoontje met Judith had ik het gevoel dat ik haar al lang kende. De voorbereiding is ook heel goed en fijn. Het “op je gemak stellen en het ontspannen voor de foto” konden we daardoor overslaan. Met Judith heb je gewoon meteen een klik. Je hebt eigenlijk niet in de gaten dat er foto’s gemaakt worden.
