★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well assorted, both hi- and low-priced items, very busy spot especially during holiday times and weekends. Impersonal and grim-faced staff (BTW: to anyone) spoils the atmo. Very bad parking situation. Come with bike and carry the biggest backpack with you ;)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our favourite supermarket near our holiday house in Schoorl, Holland, north of Amsterdam. Great selection, the buns are a bit too squishy but the Amstel beer mixed with lemonade - OUTSTANDING.
The Jumbo coffee pads are great, and very inexpensive, the fruit and vegetable department's got a great selection too, you gotta taste the chocolate. Ohhhh the chocolate. And the"Digestive" cookies. Hence the name...
