 Impatient and disinterested staff. The older lady in particular is clearly ready for retirement.

Iedereen die kwaliteit wil met levenslange garantie gaat naar juwelier Knijn. Perfecte service, erg vriendelijk personeel en men wordt als mens behandeld en niet als bij Schouten als nummer

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had my wedding ring reshaped and polished at Juwelier Schouten. When I received it back, it was severely bent out of shape and was then told that they couldn't see anything wrong and that it could have been that way before they received it. After a heavy discussion and giving the ring back to fix, I finally got it returned in normal shape, but to fix their errors they had to grind back in some places 1 mm of the ring on one side and it still has dents in scratches on it as a result of the damage they caused. The lady at the front counter was very polite and understanding - her service was great. The jeweller and another lady (more senior) wanted nothing to do with me. Not even an apology for severely damaging a very important thing to me. Now my wedding ring is damaged for life and Juwelier Schouten moves on to the next client. Nothing I can do about it now, but I would like it if their attitude and jewellery skills were adjusted to be more caring (like the girl at the service counter).
In the photo, you can see both side should be symetrical, but now one side is thinner (left side in photo). It doesn't look like much in the photo, but it's my wedding ring and I notice it.
