★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Als kajakcentrum moet je je verantwoordelijkheid nemen in het gebied waar je vaart. Jonge rustende zeehonden van een zandplaat jagen is heel onprofessioneel en gewoon idioot. Onze schipper kon het gelukkig vastleggen met zijn telefoon.
As a kayaking center, you must take responsibility in the area where you sail. Chasing young resting seals off a sandbar is very unprofessional and just plain idiot. Fortunately, our skipper was able to record it with his phone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Veel last van oosten wind, verder was de de blokhut pittig verouderd. Totaal geen goed contact met de verhuurder, deze man leeft in een fantasie die hij zelf geloofd. Ik zou hier niemand aanraden om heen te gaan
A lot of problems with east wind, otherwise the log cabin was very outdated. No good contact with the landlord at all, this man lives in a fantasy that he himself believes. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go here

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mooie locatie om te kanoën en kajakken op het Damsterdiep. We hebben een aantal dagen geslapen in het huisje en het is ons hier goed bevallen. De moeite waard om nog eens terug te komen. Klaas heeft nog les gegeven aan de kinderen en daar hebben ze nog wat van geleerd.
Het huisje is wat ouderwets ingericht laat me terugdenken aan mijn scoutingtijd uit de jaren 80-90.
Nice location for canoeing and kayaking on the Damsterdiep. We slept in the house for a few days and we really liked it here. Worth coming back again. Klaas has taught the children and they have learned something from that.
The cottage is somewhat old-fashioned and reminds me of my scouting days from the 80s-90s.
