★ ★ ★ ★ ★ September 2020: Daar geweest en dit punt geeft een heel mooi uitzicht over het water tot aan de overkant in Breskens. Er passeren ook geregeld mooie schepen om te spotten.
September 2020: Been there and this point gives a very nice view over the water to the other side in Breskens. Beautiful ships regularly pass by for spotting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Het Keizersbolwerk werd ontworpen door de Italiaanse ingenieur Donato de Boni di Pellizuoli in dienst van Spanje en in opdracht van Maria van Hongarije de toenmalige landvoogdes, de zus van keizer Karel V. De bouw werd in 1548 voltooid.
Ook het ontwerp van Fort Rammekens voltooid in 1547 is in opdracht van haar en van de hand van Donato.
The Imperial stronghold was designed by the Italian engineer Donato de Boni di Pellizuoli in the service of Spain and commissioned by Mary of Hungary, the then governor, sister of Emperor Charles V. Construction was completed in 1548.
The design of Fort Rammekens, completed in 1547, was also commissioned by her and by Donato.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heel prettig in Vlissingen. De stad en gemeente Vlissingen ligt in de provincie Zeeland, aan de noordzijde van de monding van de Westerschelde.
Op dit moment veel verkeer werkzaamheden maar dat staat niet in de weg om de stad te voet te bewonderen waaronder Watertoren, Het Arsenaal, Uncle Beach Memorial en veel andere.
Very pleasant in Vlissingen. The city and municipality of Vlissingen is located in the province of Zeeland, on the north side of the mouth of the Western Scheldt.
Currently a lot of traffic work, but that does not prevent you to admire the city on foot, including Watertoren, Het Arsenaal, Uncle Beach Memorial and many others.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful location ! To explore boulevard, to enjoy the view and the beach and meet the locals. Amazing sunsets and also by night it's a very nice view. It's a popular place for tourism, so during the summer it can be very crowdy.
