★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gisteren 18 augustus 2 kg. kersen gekocht bij de kersenboomgaard in Hekedorp.Jammer dat we vandaag al 1/3 ervan weg moesten gooien.Seizoen loopt op zijn einde,maar deze kwalitiet moeten ze niet meer voor 19 euro verkopen.Heel jammer.Volgende keer fietsen we door.
 Yesterday August 18 2 kg. bought cherries at the cherry orchard in Hekedorp. Too bad we had to throw away 1/3 of them today. Season is coming to an end, but they should no longer sell this quality for 19 euros. Very unfortunate. Next time we will cycle on.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cherry orchard with a fruit stand at a beautiful bike route. The trees are behind nets to prevent birds from eating the cherries. You cannot pick yourself, but you can see the cherries on the trees. Friendly staff at the fruit stand. We could taste three varieties of cherries. The cherries were large and dark, but they tasted a bit watery and many of them were bleeding juice a bit. They also sold apples and a selection of jams and juices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On a beautiful bicycle route between Gouda and Oudewater, this place serves as a perfect stop to have some healthy snacks like freshly picked cherries, sitting beside their beautiful orchards. Love the friendly atmosphere and people. Their home made cherry ice cream is refreshing too!
