★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Het enige positieve dat ik kan zeggen is dat vd Geest een uitgebreid assortiment heeft voor een keurslager. Daarentegen te vaak meegemaakt dat producten of niet vers waren of rechtstreeks uit de vriezer in de toonbank zodat ik een klomp ijs koop ipv een 'traitteur achtig iets'. Qua vlees redelijk, maar ik vind het bij deze slager zegmaar nodig om hem een stuk rund rechtstreeks van het stuk af te laten snijden....tenslotte, erg wisselend qua personeel. Maakt bv echt fouten in mensen voor laten gaan terwijl een ander aan de beurt is, wat opzich vrij knap is met nummertjes trekken. Het is jammer dat deze slager geen concurrentie kent in het winkelcentrum. Toch een 2e ster gedaan omdat het vlees uiteindelijk wel beter is dan supermarkt, ietsje.
The only positive thing I can say is that vd Geest has an extensive range for a butcher. On the other hand, I often experienced that products were either not fresh or straight from the freezer in the counter so that I buy a lump of ice cream instead of a 'caterer-like thing'. In terms of meat reasonable, but I think it is necessary at this butcher to have him cut a piece of beef directly from the piece....finally, very variable in terms of staff. For example, really makes mistakes in putting people first while it's someone else's turn, which in itself is quite clever with drawing numbers. It's a shame this butcher has no competition in the mall. Still a 2nd star because the meat is ultimately better than supermarket, slightly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastische slager, echt zonder overdrijving. Grote sortering. Goed vlees. Leuke suggesties, heerlijke kant en klaar gerechten. Vriendelijk en geduldig personeel. Mijn vriendin in Haarlem zweert ook vd Geest slager aldaar. Heb je een feestje? Laat hen jouw salades maken.
Fantastic butcher, really without exaggeration. Large assortment. Good meat. Nice suggestions, delicious ready-made dishes. Friendly and patient staff. My girlfriend in Haarlem also swears vd Geest butcher there. Are you having a party? Let them make your salads.

Erg gastvrij, en denkt mee met de klant om per direct naar wens een vleesmenu voor de gourmet samen te stellen. Niets is te veel, en komt met goede aanvullingen. Ga zo door, een aanwinst voor de naam Keurslager!
Walked into this butcher by chance because we are on vacation in this area. In one word: Fantastic! Very hospitable, and thinks along with the customer to immediately put together a meat menu for the gourmet. Nothing is too much, and comes with good additions. Keep it up, an asset to the name Keurslager!
