A nice and cozy reception; it feels like coming home. The staff are helpful, skilled and always there for you. I feel fine here and never burdened!

I can definitely recommend the Houtrakkers! It is small-scale and accessible. The manager and employees treat the children and parents with good care and a lot of love!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hele fijne opvang. Zeer professioneel en respecteert alle wensen van ouders en van de kinderen. Wij voelden dat de kindjes zich hier meteen veilig en vertrouwd voelden. En wij ook. Dit was dé plek waar wij onze kinderen s'ochtends wilden brengen.
Very nice care. Very professional and respects all wishes of parents and of the children. We felt that the children immediately felt safe and trusted here. So do we. This was the place where we wanted to bring our children in the morning.

Both my children enjoyed sitting with the Houtrakkers. Very loving, small-scale children's center / nursery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ons zoontje is (bijna) 4 jaar lang, 3 dagen in de week naar De Houtrakkers gegaan. Wat een fijne, veilige en gezellige kinderopvang is dit toch! De locatie is mooi ingericht en de ruime binnentuin is een fantastische speelplek. De pedagogisch medewerkers zijn professioneel en heel benaderbaar. Hetzelfde geldt voor het management. Groot voordeel van De Houtrakkers is dat het een kleinschalige opvang is. Hierdoor zijn de lijnen kort en is het contact persoonlijk. Ook fantastisch; er wordt iedere middag een verse warme maaltijd bereid voor de kinderen.
Our son went to De Houtrakkers for (almost) 4 years, 3 days a week. What a nice, safe and pleasant childcare this is! The location is nicely decorated and the spacious courtyard garden is a fantastic playground. The teaching staff are professional and very approachable. The same goes for management. A big advantage of De Houtrakkers is that it is a small-scale shelter. As a result, the lines are short and the contact is personal. Also fantastic; a fresh hot meal is prepared every afternoon for the children.

My boy started his day at Kleine Houtrakkers since he was 3 months old.
From the moment I called them to make an appointment, I felt welcomed. No rush answer, everything was well-explained.
And I was right. My boy was being taken care so gentle and kind. He wasn’t the fastest (milk) drinker and the juffies took time for him.
He wasn’t good at taking nap (would woke up after 15 minutes) and the nannies trained him to nap longer without force. And he is a happy boy.
If anyone can put so much time choosing the daycare, I would be one of those mothers.
You can also talk to the juffies like your friend. They are being attentive to the children and they can tell you how the day went.
It feels like home and it feels right.
Bonus: They provide warm meals!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The fact that was so close was the main reason, but after the introduction, I was also sure that my son is in good hands with the staff, they are attentive to the children and receive the care they need. The staff is enthusiastic and fantastic.
