Er bestaan vele andere soorten pigmentvlekken, onder andere;
1. Door geneesmiddelen
- Een bekend voorbeeld is hydrochinon crème tegen pigmentvlekken, welke om verschillende redenen juist kan leiden tot toename ervan. In het slechtste geval ontstaat een permanente blauw/grijze verkleuring (ochronose) na langdurig gebruik. Het risico hierop is groter bij gebruik van hogere concentraties.
- Maar er zijn verschillende andere geneesmiddelen die pigmentvlekken kunnen geven, zoals phenothiazines (antipsychoticum), minocycline (antibioticum), fenytoïne (anti-epileptica), (hydroxy)chloroquine (antimalaria) en imipramine (antidepressivum). Stoppen met deze middelen kan uiteindelijk tot vermindering van het pigment leiden, alhoewel dit maanden tot jaren kan duren.

He is very professional .I feel comfotable and very safe in his hands.
