β β β β β Nice former monastery which is a restaurant now. A bit offroad in the woods. It must be lovely there in the summer. We enjoyed a rich buffet with salads, cheese, bread, Roastbeef, Lasagne and much more. Delicious! Service seemed to be quick and friendly.

β β β β β Lovely place to sit down after a long walk (or geocache hunt) in the surrounding woods. Not a lot of space inside, so most accessible when the weather permits eating outside.
The food is good, shows a sense of humor - try the Judas or Virgin Mary toast, for example - and the prices are not too high.

β β β β β Great place. Nice garden with a lawn for kids to play and tame chicken walking around eating out of your hand if you give them something. Great atmosphere for all ages. I had the Nachos was lekkerr!

β β β β β Nice hotel & restaurant, situated in a former monastery. Quite exclusive, roads towards this location are pretty bad look more like sand paths. Very, very quiet environment surrounded by forests and so remote, it's a joy to walk around through the forest in the very early morning. No traffic, only the sounds of the birds and animals. Prices above average, rooms relatively small. Friendly and helpful staff.

β β β β β A lovely hotel if you want to take a break from the city. There's a dirt road leading here, but right next to it you'll see an asphalt bike road ? Definitely take a walk in the forest, there's also a sustainably maintained garden nearby where you can buy bee friendly plant seeds.
The bread offered at breakfast is good for Dutch standards (but it doesn't compare to French baking).
I recommend the restaurant downstairs. We ordered a stew and Thai-style shrimps - both delicious ? the choice of wine is limited.

β β β β β Bar tenders could be a little friendlier, and that community bathrooms and showers would definitely be more of an issue if they weren't cleaned several times a day, but the owner is a great guy and the place is extremely well kept and the scenery is very pleasant and tranquil. I still give these guys 5 stars
