★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Altijd fijn om na diner een wandeling te maken rondom het meer. In de lente en begin zomer is hier het mooist, glooiende heuvels met inheemse bloemen, en populieren doen het lijken op Romeinse landschap van weleer.
 Always nice to take a walk around the lake after dinner. Spring and early summer are the most beautiful here, rolling hills with native flowers, and poplars make it look like Roman countryside of yesteryear.

Nice to walk the dog. They can go there too. Piece of nature in the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Net als het Mauritspark zeker een bezoek waard! Spannende boomstam route, en mooi uitzicht bij de geluidswal. Leuk om om de plas heen te lopen. Veel vogels, vlinders en idioot dikke rupsen zoals op de foto.
Just like the Mauritspark, definitely worth a visit! Exciting tree trunk route, and beautiful view at the noise barrier. Nice to walk around the puddle. Many birds, butterflies and idiot thick caterpillars as in the photo.

Lovely park, small and uncluttered but a lot of life. Glad that Vik can enjoy it here regularly

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Goed omheind modderveldje. De 2e ster is dan ook voor de goede omheining. Helaas is het voor sommigen teveel moeite om als ze hun hond van het veldje halen, de ijzeren beugel om het hek te doen. Het hek dicht doen kan er nog net vanaf, maar ja zonder de beugel om hem goed te blokkeren is dat natuurlijk niet echt handig.
Well fenced mud field. The 2nd star is therefore for the good fence. Unfortunately for some it is too much trouble to put the iron bracket around the fence when they take their dog off the field. Closing the gate is still possible, but yes, without the bracket to properly block it, that is of course not really useful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Long and narrow strip of park separating the De Balije neighbourhood from the Nyeveld neighbourhood. The water level of the pond is raised each autumn to turn it into a possible skating pond for winter. There's also an enclosed play area for dogs.
