★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BIKE. In the 3 weeks i had it, it spent most of that time in the shops service centre. Blow outs, tyres coming off the rims, and the bike could only be moved with great difficulty once punctured as the mudguards sat down on the punctured tyres, so you have to fix on the spot or get a motorbike style trailer to pick it up, because it is so big and heavy. Then there was the chain regularly jumping off the front sprocket if you stop peddling when going over a bump, oh and there was the regular battery disconnects when you hit a bump, one of the times it happened to.me on a roundabout and I had to get off and push the bike to the side of the road. Dangerous or what! I contacted Knaap by email to let them know the issues I had been having with their bike, but they didnt even have the courtesy to respond. Very poor show Knaap!! Today I returned the Knaap and got my refund. The bike looks good and has some nice features, but in my opinion this bike is not particularly safe, and I would suggest you invest your money elsewhere. John W Dublin 24, Ireland
