This place is lucky that the minimum number of stars available is one, because they deserve something in the negative. I’m going to try to keep this short, because there’s a lot to unpack. This agency sent us a sitter that was not only unqualified (despite their insistence that we were lucky she was so experienced), but as it turned out touched our daughter inappropriately, and was negligent, causing her to fall down the stairs. The bruises, which I have on camera, and the fact that she didn’t even feed our daughter (or even open the packages of food that we left for her to feed our daughter with) are evidence enough. I used to be a nanny myself, and I told my wife that sometimes things happen, even to the best sitters. The negligence comes in when you don’t tell the parents what went down, and she not only didn’t tell us what happened, she gave my daughter two cookies (again, instead of the food we left for her!) to try to keep it quiet. We also didn’t find out about the cookies from her, and had to hear about it from our two-year-old daughter later on. But this review is about the agency, not the sitter, despite the fact that they “vetted“ her and assured us that she was one of their most experience sitters, and that we were lucky to have her. The agency themselves listed on their website a range of prices, and then when they knew it was too late for us to find someone else, told us that this particular babysitters price was much higher, because of said experience. A clear bait and switch tactic. They charged us in advance for agency fees for a number of babysitting sessions. Obviously, after seeing the bruises and hearing the stories and seeing the unopened food and later watching the videos of the babysitter continuing to touch our daughter even though she continues to say “no,“ and “don’t touch,“ and “stop,” we opted not to invite her back for a second babysitting session. We then requested that, of the five sessions we paid agency fees for in advance, we receive four fees in return. They refused, and told us that they still expected us to pay the sitter for her time. In short, they do not vet properly, they change their promised pricing, they refuse to send alternative choices, they blame the victim, they don’t refund money when appropriate to do so, and - on top of it all - they then gave the sitter my wife’s personal contact information so she could hound her directly for payment, instead of getting it from the agency, who still has our money. To call this place a joke would be negligent on my part. You must beware, you must avoid, run away and do not trust these people with your children. If you, like me, believe that your child is a precious commodity, do not put their lives at risk in the hand of these charlatans.
