★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First lunch out after long time. After a bike raid we stop in Den Hoorn and found this nice place. Helpfull, smiling english speaking service and a good lamb burgers with local Texel bier. Deserve a 5 stars a d we reccomend to stop here

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After 6 months locked in, we finally had a lunch out in the sun.
It's a very local place, we were the only non Dutch tourists.
The stuff was really friendly but not the quickest service.
The hamburger were excellent, they had a special local lamb hamburger (it was delicious). Very nice local beer!
We recommend this place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice, eclectic place. Very friendly and helpful staff. They have excellent value daily dishes. Visit the upstairs toilet and marvel at the decorations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sorry, but I was greatly disappointed. Dirty tables. Sticky food and hairs. Even when asked to clean them they just forget it. Even my two sons disliked the hot dog, even though they usually are not very picky when it comes to hot dogs. Staff was average and on top the weekly garbage collection was done, so you can imagine the nice smell that was casted over my lunch. So cannot recommend this place at this moment. Will swing by another time to see if was just this instance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good service, good food, quirky ambience. A very good option for an informal lunch or coffee in Texel. Tried the lamb cuts and it was soft and in decent quantity, just lacked a bit of seasoning. Bread plate as starter was very tasty but I felt the flavour of the garlic paste in my mouth for the whole afternoon.

Taking off 1 star for the heavy upswell! Although very friendly, tte staff was a bit too pushy with rye drinks and deserts
