About Kolonos B.V.
Kolonos BV started off in 1997. It established a daughter company ‘Collis BV’ that grew to a successful team of >150 staff in 2012 (operating world wide). This company focused on innovative secure electronic transactions (like chip payments and payments with a mobile phone). In 2012 Collis BV was sold to UL to become UL Transaction Security (www.ul-ts.com).
Since the start Kolonos BV has also been involved in real estate (e.g. by leasing offices space to Collis).
Right now Kolonos BV is an investment company focusing on two domains:
1. Real Estate (Office Space & Warehousing)
2. Participations in Innovative projects/companies
The aim is to run a commercial business that creates (because of the innovative character) a return-on-investment above average. At the same time Kolonos aims to do business in a social responsible manner and to unleash the potential that is in people to give them a better life.
