R	Rene de Jong on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tja, een restaurant met veel pretenties maar ze maken het niet waar. Prijzig menu maar de setting past er niet bij. Het is enorm druk en veel lawaai. Tafels en stoelen dicht op elkaar want dat is goed voor de omzet. Neem niet het vegetarisch gerecht, smakeloos! Het meest storend is nog wel dat aan het eind van de avond het personeel heel aanwezig en luidruchtig gaat opruimen. Met bestek gooien, tafels indekken voor de volgende dag, afscheid nemen van elkaar, borrelen. Dit alles terwijl je nog je dessert aan het bestellen bent. We zijn maar weggegaan. Well, a restaurant with a lot of pretensions but they don't live up to it. Pricey menu but the setting doesn't match. It is very busy and noisy. Tables and chairs close together because that is good for turnover. Don't take the vegetarian dish, tasteless! The most disturbing thing is that at the end of the evening the staff is very present and loudly cleaning up. Throwing cutlery, setting the tables for the next day, saying goodbye to each other, having a drink. All this while you are still ordering your dessert. We just left.

Finally the restaurants open again and immediately enjoyed a delicious dinner, nice wine and a good ambiance. To be repeated.

Binnen ziet het er prachtig uit en daar zal je toch vaker terechtkomen. 6 weken voor de corona-horecasluiting geopend dus alles nog behoorlijk nieuw, eigen parkeergelegenheid voor de deur en achterom kun je je sloep voor het terras leggen. Alles wat de keuken verlaat oogt geweldig, de wijn(kaart) is goed maar beetje risico had wel gemogen. Net als een goeie sommelier trouwens. Het eten verdient dat best. Het personeel is jong maar ruim voorhanden dus je zit niet om aandacht verlegen. Kom vast terug. On a tropical day it is nice to sit outside here. It looks beautiful inside and you will end up there more often. Open 6 weeks before the corona catering facility closure, so everything is still quite new, private parking in front of the door and you can lay your boat in front of the terrace at the back. Everything that leaves the kitchen looks great, the wine (menu) is good but a little risk could have been done. Just like a good sommelier, by the way. The food deserves that. The staff is young but readily available so you are not in need of attention. Come back.

The food was exceptional and very well priced considering the quality of the ingredients used and the overall concept of the restaurant. I am very pleased that i was served well thought preparations and not just protein and vegetables. I don’t agree at all with one star reviews complaining about alcohol served in small cups or the ones complaining about not receiving a special treatment expected in a fine dining restaurant, especially at this menu price. Only “complain” i have js that the Aperol Spritz that i was served was most likely not made following an official recipe (which should be done with Prosecco and without mint leaves). The waiter did say upfront that they were not yet ready for cocktails and therefore this does not affect the rating. (165 Euros for Iberico plate, 6 Oysters, Salmon and Tartare as starters, Lamb and Halibut mains, Passionfruit dessert, Two Aperol Spritz, Two glasses of wine, One Cointreau and Two espresso)
