★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kraansluis (Bridge 300) is a fixed road bridge in the Prins Hendrikkade next to the national monument Het Scheepvaarthuis. It has red brick abutments and brick-faced storage spaces on either side of a narrow passage of water. It spans the Waalseilandgracht where the canal meets the Open Havenfront. There is no decoration and this isn't a sightseeing destination, but it carries heavy traffic daily. As an extension of bridges 299 (Hoofdbrug) and 301 (Kolkswaterkering), Kraansluis carries several lanes of vehicle traffic, a two-way bicycle path, and wide walking paths on both sides.
