★ ★ ★ ★ ★ one of the best zoo in nrw. the price is cheaper than most zoo (11€ Adult, 8€ Ermäßigt.) but it is so beautiful. totally recommend you to take the Rundgang path. please ask for the free keychain with your photo on it from the lady with camera at the front gate! totally worth it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is quite the Zoo. It has a butterfly area, tropical rainforest area where the small monkeys are free to roam. Two playgrounds, one fairly large and has a 0.50€ per-swing for smaller kids. I recommend using the bathroom in the cafe. It's nice and doesn't stink. ? Visiting in the winter months gives the rainforest a really nice touch. Bring chilled snacks in the summer to cool off.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice zoo with lots of opportunities to make pictures. There are lots of different animals, even though the zoo is a little small. Especially enjoyed the butterfly and bird spaces.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a big zoo, but fair enough. 2 adults +4 kids can buy a big family ticket €33. The room is big enough for the animals. The biggest predators are Chita, Jaguar and Sumatra tiger.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place to connect with nature with your loved ones. It's a home to about 1000 animals. Apes, Big cats, Orangutans, Chimpanzees and Gorillas with other kinds of animals are the big attractions. The opening hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The latest entry allowed is at 4:30 PM.
