Kurtosis stelde vast dat gezinshuizen en zorgboerderijen vooral in de verdachtenbank zaten als het gaat om woekerwinsten. Dat kwam omdat Kurtosis even vergat te beseffen dat in een VOF uit de opbrengst (‘winst’ volgens Kurtosis) ook nog salaris moet worden betaald. Daarna blijft er nog iets over dat, om eens iets te noemen, voor pensioen kan worden gebruikt.
Ik las op de website dat bij Kurtosis “professionals op het gebied van data-analyse, datascience en datagedreven werken, die verbinding leggen tussen data en domeinkennis”. Ik stel vast dat u in dit onderzoek vast veel data is doorgenomen, maar domeinkennis u vreemd is.
Kurtosis did research for the Home Office into profits in youth care and completely missed the point. Kurtosis established that family homes and care farms were especially suspect when it comes to profiteering. That was because Kurtosis forgot to realize that in a VOF the proceeds ('profit' according to Kurtosis) also have to be paid a salary. After that, there is still something left that, for instance, can be used for retirement.
I read on the website that at Kurtosis “professionals in the field of data analysis, data science and data-driven work, who connect data and domain knowledge”. I note that you have probably gone through a lot of data in this research, but domain knowledge is foreign to you.
