★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent service, and on-time delivery — and when (already after acceptance) it was clear that a part of the shirt did not fit, they ordered a new one straight away. No questions asked. Can not recommend highly enough for anyone looking for a well tailored suit in the Amsterdam area.

Even for small orders like this the service is excellent (thanks Rogier!). No doubts that my next suit will come form L'Atelier Amsterdam. Definitely recommend this place!

I had never bought a tailored-made piece and was nervous about the end product. However Pascal gave me confidence that the look worked and was what I had in mind.

I just received my suit today and I could not be more happier with it. I moved here from Washington, DC a few years ago and it was important to me to find a trustworthy tailor to update my wardrobe to European norms. I did my first order with Pascal, who was superbly knowledgeable, personable, and attentive. Since then I have been back a few times to work with Armand to round out my wardrobe.
They have very nice quality fabrics (you can go as high-end as you like), will take their time with you and provide advice based on the trends they are seeing, and have a nice seasonal rotation. Big fan of both their formal jackets/trousers and their new casual clothes like jeans.
FYI, not sure what the one review is referring to re: measuring tape as they of course took my measurements and they make adjustments as appropriate afterward as well, as with any skilled tailor. I am quite particular -- this is a personalized shop that really knows what it's doing.
