Landal Stroombroek - Landweerswal 2

Great facilities and well kept. Good activities but it can be a bit baffling for non - Dutch speakers. We tried swimming, bowling, paddling in beach, cycling and toasting marshmallows over a fire.

The location of this vacation park is amazing, it is next to a lake and a lot of nature in the form of forests. The lake consists of 2 parts, 1 is reserved for waterskiing and waterboarding, the other part is for relaxing and swimming and includes a small beach. In the vicinity of the park there is a lot to do, including restaurants, castles and golf. If you go to this vacation park you should definitely go to "bij kobus" and get the spareribs, you will not be sorry. The park itself has a great restaurant as well, it does not a very big menu but has special days during the week for different kinds of schnitzel and sometimes spareribs. They also serve good Italian ice cream. They also have a small midget golf course, bowling, air hockey and even an escape room. The swimming pool is not very big but it does have a bubble section and was big enough for a bit of basic swimming and some ball throwing. The park also includes a general convenience store that will have most things you need at reasonable prices. While the park itself is great, the accommodations could be better. We stayed in the basic one, and while you cannot expect the most luxurious stay with the basic option, it was a bit of a let down. The rooms are too small, no insect screen at the main entrance to the backyard or in the toilet and the rooms, especially the bedrooms, could use a lot more electrical outlets, it was a lot more inconvenient to charge than it should be. I also do not completely understand why the bedrooms had doors instead of windows, it is highly unlikely you will use these doors to get outside but you are less likely to leave it open at night. However, the Wi-Fi is great and every cottage has it's own router, the living room is spacious enough, it includes a dishwasher and some space outside with a personal parking space.

Not a fan in comparrison to a lot of other parks we already visited from Landal. Bedrooms were really to small! You can barely get in and out of your bed. We had cottage for 4 persons, a comfort one. But the comfort was not there for us. Bedrooms, bathroom to small and the home cinema barely worked. Also cottage, especially bathroom was not clean. Everything in the main building needs a refreshment, the pool is really old and NOT clean! It smelled terrible there! Also the kids playgrounds inside and outside look messy and old. Must say, long time ago we were that dissapointed with a park from Landal.

Great for families with young children, lots to do and the park is quiet by about 9pm. Stayed in one of the houses plenty of room your own private garden absolutely loved it! the local town doetinchem is where the closest supermarket is and is well worth visiting on market days.lake has lovely beach kids playgrounds nice and clean

Good place for a weekend getaway. The spa facilities are free for guests of the park and we loved the saunas (about 8 different ones), whirlpools, chill spots and outdoor swimming pool. The accommodation was simple but neat, and offers enough privacy from neighbors. The spa would be our main reason to return to Stroombroek.

Really nice holiday park with great facilities. Our bungalow was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Staff is friendly and helpful. The lake is great for swimming and we brought Stand Up Paddle boards which was perfect.

Comfortable houses,nicely equipped, fire places in each,hills around, picturesque forests(not Schwarzwald style but still;)) good for kids( playgrounds etc),prompt response food delivery. Germany 20 km (Kleve, Koekoek museum is a must), Bredevoort,s'Heerenberg, Doesburg, Arnhem are the closest and worth visiting. Always look for generous discounts for staying( usually winter and pandemic times:))

I love this place. Have spent almost 10 weeks in different times from 2018. Must spend your holidays atleast once.
