Landgoed de Utrecht - Torenlaan 1
In 1898 startte de Levensverzekeringmaatschappij "De Utrecht" een groot ontginningsproject als geldbelegging. Dit is uitgegroeid tot het Landgoed "De Utrecht" zoals wij dit nu kennen.
Het Landgoed "De Utrecht" is zeldzaam in z'n soort vanwege de schaal van de ontginningswerkzaamheden én de grote omvang van het landgoed.
De totale omvang van het landgoed "De Utrecht" is 2.485 hectare en omvat ca. 1.600 ha bos, 600 ha landbouwgrond, 200 ha natuurterrein en 100 ha overig (golfbaan, wegen, water en erven).
