Met Harmen ga je op pad naar hoge berg toppen, ruige zee kusten en idyllische bekende Noorse dorpjes. Er word niet gestopt voor de juiste foto gemaakt is. Dit onderscheid Harmen van de vele grotere instanties die de massale fototours doen waar je met zo’n 8 man in een busje zit. Een reis met Harmen krijg je waar voor je geld. The winter tour with Harmen went to Lofoten, Norway. Highly recommended for anyone who likes to take extreme photos. With Harmen you set off to high mountain peaks, rugged sea coasts and idyllic well-known Norwegian villages. There is no stop before the correct photo has been taken. This distinguishes Harmen from the many larger organizations that do the massive photo tours where you sit in a van with about 8 people. A trip with Harmen gives you value for money.

Zijn reis naar Noorwegen was erg leerzaam en indrukwekkend, alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd!!! En hebben erg veel gelachen! Very friendly, spontaneous and enthusiastic. Van het vervoer, verblijf, eten en natuurlijk de kennis van de prachtige omgeving. Voor ieder weer type wist hij de ideale plek te vinden om de mooise foto’s te maken. Iets wat ik zelf nog nooit had ervaren was het Noorderlicht, door zijn ervaring hierin en het voorspellen van de condities heb ik hier niet alleen foto’s aan over gehouden maar met name erg veel goede herinneringen. In 2019 I booked a phototour from Harmen to the Lofoten in Norway, which was all very well arranged. From transport, accommodation, food and of course the knowledge of the beautiful surroundings. For every type of weather he knew how to find the ideal place to take the most beautiful photos. De workshop begint met een theoretisch deel, samen met koffie en broodjes - Een goed begin en lekker in de natuur met perfect weer. Met 6 mensen aan tafel, vanaf een laptop is de workshop goed te volgen; De theorie is duidelijk, bruikbaar en waardevol. Uitleg over onder andere apparatuur, camera instellingen, compositieleer en het gebruik van het licht komen aan bod. Na de theorie, een klein uurtje met hier en daar wat discussie en vragen, is het tijd om het veld in te gaan. Het maken van panorama's en composities maken en zien was voor mij de trigger om deze workshop te volgen. Harmen legt de dingen goed uit, is rustig en neemt vooral de tijd. Tijdens de workshop is het mogelijk om ook met NISI filters te gaan werken wat echt een meerwaarde is als je nog nooit met (ND) filters hebt gewerkt. Tijdens de workshop is er ruim de mogelijkheid om vragen te stellen en Harmen beantwoord deze uitgebreid en duidelijk. Ook na de worksop is er nog even een praatje met z'n allen en dat is erg fijn. Geduld. Een hele fijne workshop met veel waardevolle informatie en "hands on" begeleiding. Na afloop nog een e-book ontvangen met alle informatie maakt het compleet. Een aanrader voor de beginnende en gevorderde landschapsfotograaf die zich verder wil ontwikkelen. Followed a landscape photography master class with craftsman Harmen.
