The embassy area of the Hague. Very beautiful after midnight without the crowd. Very pleasant canopy of trees

A great place to walk, especially with the antiques market. Plus, the Escher museum and pretty much next to it, the smallest house in the Hague

Had always enjoyed the walk at this area. Beautiful sculpture and very detailed art work. The tall tree canopy gives the walk and the whole setting a picturesque view.

One of my favorite parts of The Hague. In summer there is something here most weekends and if not it is such a beautiful area anyway. Love the trees here!

This is my favourite spot in The Hague. With the old palaces and buildings this part just breathes history, stories and legends. This part is also used as a venue for events like the Uitmarkt, which is the cultural festival of The Hague, and the Embassy Festival, which is the international festival where all the foreign representations can show their food and culture.

This lengthy promenade with tall shade trees gives one a feeling of the grandeur the street must have enjoyed in past centuries. One can envision stately men and women strolling the paths arm in arm. The spacious grounds between the boulevards are often stages for sculpture exhibitions. As is the case this summer 2018. Visit nearby attractions, including the Escher Paleis, Kneuterdijk Paleis (Gotische Zaal), Hotel des Indes and the art gallery Pulchri Studio.

The Lange Voorhout is a L shaped street in the old city centre of The Hague and a few minutes walk from Binnenhof. It's a well-to-do district of Den Haag and a pretty tree lined avenue home to many fine buildings and even finer embassies. Not a must-see unless your patriotism extends to seeing the embassy of your country here, or if visiting Escher in Het Paleis. Other than that, there's a few cafes at the Tournooiveld end of Lange Voorhout.

Probably one of the most beautiful lanes in Europe. Walking along the tree-lined avenue, whether in summer or winter, feels like strolling through a glorious past. Lovely antique market twice a week during summer.
