About me

A little bit about me….

I grew up in the Netherlands where I studied Graphic Art and Design and started my own studio as a graphic designer working on Corporate identity, brochures, advertisements, websites, shop windows, advertising agencies. Tattoos always fascinated me I have uncountable tattoos, my first one being 1995 and I was inspired to apply my design background to this field. So, I went to a private tattoo school in the Netherlands and I have been a tattoo artist since 2015 with my own shop in the Netherlands.

In 2019, I moved to Portland, Oregon,  with my wife to (fill in the blank).  And seeing how popular tattoos are here, I am once again feeling inspired and want to start designing again. I have my Oregon Tattoo Health License and my ultimate goal is to have my own tattoo shop right here in Portland. While I look for that studio space, I am currently creating and tattooing designs on leather shoes – check out these designs on Nike Air Force 1 shoes.

My passions outside of work include the outdoors, cycling, skiing, hiking, tennis and, when I’m in the Netherlands, I love to ride my motorcycle!

This is how it works to order:
1) Contact me by email ([email protected]) with an image of your idea
2) The design fee is $60 (PayPal). When the fee is paid, I’ll make the design for you
3) When you have approved the design, go to my Etsy web shop Leather Tattoos and order your shoes (and find all prize information). The prize for the tattoo depends on how big and detailed the design is. Free shipping (US)!
4) Within 2-3 weeks you will receive your unique, custom made shoes!
5) Make sure you order the correct shoe size, exchange is not possible!

I use Cheyenne tattoo machines and high quality, waterproof leather paint when making your design on your shoes.
