★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Als je naar Friesland gaat,op vakantie of een dagtrip dan is Lemmer een aanrader. Een gezellig centrum, met veel terrassen en winkels.
De plezierboten varen vlak langs het terras en kan je bijna aanraken.
De oude sluis is zeker een bezoek waard, metname in het hoogseizoen het is dan erg druk.
En zo af en toe hilarisch toe te kijken hoe al die huurboten er het van af brengen om af te meren in de sluis.
Ook een bezoek aan het Woudagemaal(stoom) is de moeite waard.
Dat ligt op een half uur lopen vanaf het centrum.
In de zomermaanden zijn er veel activiteiten in het centrum (zie uit agenda).
Kortom een leuk dagje uit ga naar Lemmer, u zult er geen spijt van hebben.
 If you go to Friesland, on holiday or a day trip, Lemmer is a must. A pleasant center with many terraces and shops.
The pleasure boats sail right past the terrace and can almost touch you.
The old lock is definitely worth a visit, especially in high season when it is very busy.
And occasionally hilariously watch how all those rental boats manage to moor in the lock.
A visit to the Woudagemaal (steam) is also worthwhile.
It is a half hour walk from the center.
In the summer months there are many activities in the center (see agenda).
In short, a nice day out go to Lemmer, you will not regret it.
