★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leo Kornips is een hartelijk en begenadigd kunstenaar. Zijn werken hebben diepgang. Niet alleen in ruimtelijke zin maar ook spirituele en letterlijke zin, getuige de vele lagen waaruit zijn schilderijen zijn opgebouwd. Het duurt dan ook twee maanden en vele lagen verf voordat een kunstwerk zijn definitieve beeld heeft gekregen. Ik heb het voorrecht ook met Leo als architect gewerkt te mogen hebben en waardeer ook op dat vlak zijn vakmanschap. Licht speelt in al zijn kunstvormen een grote rol gevoed door zijn rotsvaste overtuiging dat er licht in het vooruitzicht is.
 Leo Kornips is a cordial and gifted artist. His works have depth. Not only in a spatial sense, but also in a spiritual and literal sense, as witnessed by the many layers from which his paintings are built. It therefore takes two months and many layers of paint before a work of art has received its final image. I have the privilege to have also worked with Leo as an architect and appreciate his craftsmanship in that area as well. Light plays a major role in all his art forms, fueled by his unwavering belief that light is ahead.
