L	Loes van Rijsewijk on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heb de Ableton Beginners Course gedaan omdat ik, na een aantal jaar te hebben gedraaid, wel eens wilde leren produceren. Mijn voorkennis van Ableton was precies 0, maar dat bleek geen probleem. De informatiedichtheid van elke les was voor mij daarom wel heel hoog, maar je hebt telkens een weekje om dat te verwerken en thuis een beetje te pielen. Na de lessen had ik een basis liggen voor 2 goede tracks. Ik heb nu genoeg kennis om tracks te bouwen en uit te vinden hoe ik mijn sound uit Ableton krijg. Waarom zou je niet gewoon de manual lezen? - Dit gaat veeeeel sneller. De manual is ook niet altijd even goed te begrijpen als je sommig jargon niet snapt (moet je weer googlen, filmpjes van drie kwartier kijken, duurtlang) - Je leert meteen één / meerdere workflow(s) en veel verschillende trucjes die niet in de manual staan - Je kunt direct je vragen stellen, de manual praat niet terug. - Je leert nieuwe mensen kennen, de manual is maar papier. - De lessen / Camiel zijn losjes, ontspannen, grappig, gezellig, de manual is saai. I did the Ableton Beginners Course because, after having played for a few years, I wanted to learn how to produce. My prior knowledge of Ableton was exactly 0, but that turned out to be no problem. The information density of each lesson was therefore very high for me, but you always have a week to process it and peel a little at home. After the lessons I had a basis for 2 good tracks. I now have enough knowledge to build tracks and find out how I get my sound from Ableton. Why not just read the manual? - This is veeeeel faster. The manual is also not always easy to understand if you do not understand some of the jargon (you have to google again, watch films of 45 minutes, takes a long time) - You immediately learn one / more workflow (s) and many different tricks that are not in the manual - You can ask your questions directly, the manual does not talk back. - You get to know new people, the manual is just paper. - The lessons / Camiel are loose, relaxed, funny, fun, the manual is boring.
R	Ruben Tiben on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heb hier mijn Ableton beginners cursus bij gedaan. Echt super veel geleerd, ik kan al echte tracks bouwen! Raad dit echt aan als je zelf muziek wilt gaan maken. Makkelijker en leuker gaat het niet worden! I did my Ableton beginners course here. Really learned a lot, I can already build real tracks! Really recommend this if you want to make music yourself. It's not going to be easier and more fun!

Met de online beginners cursus van Camiel was ik no-time mijn eerste nummer aan het maken. Wat een lol en een berg kennis die ik in 8 weken tot me heb kunnen nemen. Deze lock-down was een stuk leuker dankzij Camiel! Een echte aanrader als je serieus wil kennismaken met mijn nieuwe vriend Ableton! My suspicion was that I could really appreciate Ableton. I once made an attempt with free videos on YouTube, but dropped out pretty quickly. With the online beginners course from Camiel I was making my first song in no time. What a lot of fun and a mountain of knowledge that I was able to acquire in 8 weeks. This lock-down was a lot more fun thanks to Camiel! Highly recommended if you are serious about getting to know my new friend Ableton!

He has so much knowledge but also the talent to bring this information in an understandable way which makes his courses more than worth it.
