★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good lord. Their bread is unbelievable. More than once I've been lucky to get a loaf moments after it left the oven so it was still hot and chewy when I got home. Probably the best bread I've ever had anywhere in the world. Their coffees are also fantastic, and their wine selection is massive, though mostly north of €15. Staff is extremely friendly. This place is a treasure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place used to be great but today I stopped by and the service was unpleasant and the caneles were burnt. The server gave me the wrong focaccia (I ordered olive and she gave me cheese). She also gave the wrong kombucha (I wanted milky oolong). To be fair I should've checked my order before leaving the shop but it was still unpleasant to arrive home and discover all of these things. I hope it was just an off day and that it hasn't gone downhill because it used to be great place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious fresh baked bread, focaccia and other breads. Only a few choices but the specialties are very good.
A very clean and modern place with a few tables to sit and enjoy, also offering coffee to sit in or take away, and bottles of wine to buy.
Get there early as the bread sells out quickly! Especially on Saturday mornings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another artisinal bakery in Amsterdam. Although they have been around for a while the artisinal bakeries are growing in numbers. Here at Levain et le vin they also have often some specials based on there dough. It's not the cheapest but quality is outstanding. Follow them on social for there specials. Finally (next to some other great bakeries) we can get a proper baguette. Not the typical parisien ones (due to the dough) but 100 times better than supermarket versions.
