Liberty Church’s Mission in Amsterdam

 Church that truly places Christ at the center. How essential this is and makes all the difference. From the moment I arrived, I felt very welcomed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably use to be church not anymore or maybe just a part of it for the locals. Big sign on the door that is an office and you can clearly see office equipment thru the windows. Still nice to see it from outside

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We enjoyed an excellent meeting with the Church on the Sunday we were in Amsterdam. We were greated on the door and there was a hot drink on offer when we went inside. After we stood talking to each other for a while we were approached by someone close to our age who chatted with us and made sure we knew what was likely to happen and where important things (like the loos) were.
The meeting itself was similar to our Church at home with guitar lead worship and even though we didn't know all the songs they were easy enough to follow and this did not distract from our worship of God. Matt gave the talk and this was well delivered.
The congregation on the Sunday we were there was mainly students and 20's with a handlful of more mature people like us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a beautiful church! I am a Christian but come from a religiously diverse background so my faith had never been a huge thing.... When I came to Amsterdam someone recommended me to this church for a service and Wow was i blown away! Even tho no-one had ever seen me before they welcomed me in and made me feel at home but then the service itself opened my eyes to my faith.. Suddenly, I could feel positive emotions and feelings rushing through me! Very positively empowering!
